What skills are covered in the program?

In simplest terms, the skills covered are: self awareness, "in the moment" wisdom-based thinking, accepting reality, prioritizing life & goal setting and finally, validating self and others.

How will Christian Biblical principles be integrated into the program?

Sheila weaves thematic Biblical elements throughout the course of the six week program, both in the explanation of the skill and individualized personal coaching time.  Sheila respects all stages of people's spiritual formation, and follows the client's to lead in determining the role that Christianity plays in their sessions.

Will this program help me solve my problems?

The skills you will learn during the six weeks are tools for you to have in your back pocket to use as you see fit.  You decide what skill works best in any given situation, and use it accordingly.

This program is not designed to address any underlying issues that may be at the root of your stress. Like any other new skill it will take commitment to practice the skills so that you can use them when you need them the most. In addition to reaping the benefits of these stress management skills in your daily life, you may also find that over time you will be operating out of a healthier frame of mind and have the stability necessary to address underlying issues with mental health professionals.
